This slideshow really gives me perspective of my progress so far.
Realistically, my journey to health and fitness will take take two to three years total.
So this means I am around a quarter of the way there, minimum.
My ultimate goal is to get back to my year 2000 weight of under 90 kg.
The video slideshow has really highlighted two things to me
- The changes in my face and neck
- How loose my pants look
My face and neck
- I am amazed at the change in my face and fat around my neck.
- I can really see difference, even though I still have a very fat face, it is a major change.
My pants
- I can't get over how loose my pants are in this photo at 26 weeks.
- Six months ago they were starting to get tight.
In fact, pause the video at week 001 and you can see that the pants fit snugly, now they are too big to wear comfortably and fall off without a belt.
I just checked those jeans and they are size - 62 R - which is 62 inches regular - or 157 cm.
It's not the biggest they make, but you certainly can't buy them at Target, or even Lowes.
I had to go to the dedicated big guy shop to buy my clothes as I outgrew the 'big guy' sections of Target and Lowes.
